Preparing Naval Vessel for Rimpac
At this time, FFG-57 Crommelin is getting prepared for Rimpac, which is a warfare exercise held here in Honolulu, Hawaii. It is hosted and administered by the United States Navy’s Pacific Fleet, headquartered at Pearl Harbor, in union with the Marine Corps, the Coast Guard, and Hawaii National Guard forces under the control of Hawaii’s governor, David Ige.
SINKEX preparation involves a combination of removals and cleaning including machinery piping removal as shown. After all machinery pipes that are required for removal and cleaning, we transfer it to our local Naval recycling center.
